Nordea – Complex Cards Business Transformation

Nordea

Nordea uses Savantor’s industry practitioners to help ensure success in the critical selection/mobilisation phase

Nordea examined and then systematically moved forward with major work programmes to replace Issuing and Acquiring platforms to position the bank for future growth, innovation and success.

The unusual complexity of the programme was due to multiple languages, currencies, cultures and product differences across markets.

In common with other banks, change and complexity on this scale is an infrequent event and Nordea did not have sufficient relevant experience in-house.

Nordea examined a range of alternative providers to help as an integral part of the programme management and turned to Savantor due to their deep expertise in the area of card migrations.

Geoff Durham, Executive Director at Savantor, highlighted the benefits that Savantor’s industry expertise and experience had been able to bring to Nordea.

“Nordea recognised that the complexity and scale of change demanded proven outside expertise. It was a pleasure to help Nordea turn complexity into forward momentum and deliver key milestones.”
