Citi – Card processing platform migration

Savantor’s migration specialists play major roles in the “award winning” conversion of Citi’s commercial cards

Citi upgraded their VisionPLUS consumer cards platform to provide commercial cards functionality to match business expansion plans.

The critical success factors were a successful launch of a MasterCard product followed by conversion of an established Visa portfolio from the TSYS PRIME system, managing the process over several time-zones and different technologies, seamlessly to the cardholder base.

Savantor’s team undertook the following:

  • Definition of key migration activities across all vendors.
  • Management of MasterCard and Visa certification.
  • Authorisation parameter review to cover both conversion and ongoing requirements.
  • Multi-national, multi-currency data migration management.
  • Detailed conversion strategy to deliver successful cutover.
  • Managed verification processes and testing defect resolutions.
  • Defined and delivered system balancing validation process.
  • Planned, established and managed a 24x7 Conversion Control Centre.
